The
Near-term Indicant, NTI, is
identified in the light blue section of the above table. Its purpose is to
identify near-term bullish/bearish spurt behavior. Spurt behavior cycles
are very short that move contrary to the underlying longer-term cycles or
trends. They sometimes are predecessor to trend shifting. Sometimes they
are just mere teasers. The Near-term Indicant will help you differentiate
the teasers from major cyclical shifts in directional intensity.
The light yellow section is the
Quick-term Indicant, QTI. It is
the same as it has always been. Yellow Bears are to be avoided. Red Bulls
are to be enjoyed.
The blue and green curves on the
charts reflect the NTI while the red and yellow curves represent the QTI.
The charts can be viewed by clicking the link on the far right of the
above table. The NTI and QTI are both represented on the same chart. Those who enjoy
trading will prefer the Near-term Indicant and the longer-term to mid-term
investor will prefer the Quick-term Indicant. They have been consolidated
onto a single chart
because the logic flow of one is influential on the other. |
