After the mid-term ranges consolidated in 1949 the market took off on one of it's
longest and most profitable gains. Notice the green line crossed above the
red and yellow lines. This is a sign of extraordinary
bullishness.
However, the Mid-term Indicant takes no chances. As you can see, the
Mid-term Indicant signaled "sell" in the summer of 1952 and then shortly
thereafter signaled "buy." One could argue that holding through this
time period would have saved the time and trouble of buying and selling. There
is nothing wrong with achieving a 60% gain in the market over a period of three
years and then a 10% on top of that for a few months.
By becoming a member of the Indicant you can maintain an awareness of the
long, mid, and short term perspectives on the market's direction. The Mid-term Indicant
is updated weekly and advises on the mid-term direction of the stock market and
sectors of the economy that are moving in a bullish direction.
